I'm rebuilding my ROCKSHOX Reverb B1 Stealth Dropper seat post. If yours needs a refresh or has developed the spongy, squishy feel mine has, it's time to stop trying to bleed the lever and fix the issue by rebuilding the internals of the post. I didn't have to buy many specialty tools and it was pretty straight forward. I followed the SRAM guide. Découvres notre test longue durée du best seller des tiges de selle télescopique - la Rockshox Reverb particulièrement apprécié pour la pratique du VTT Trail , all-moutain et Enduro , la tige de selle télescopique est devenue en quelques années un équipement quasiment indispensable. La Rockshox Reverb est le modèle le plus répandu et équipe de nombreux bike en première monte. Nous avons roulé plusieurs modèles différents, ici un modèle stealth de 2017 en 125 mm de débattement. Nous avons également pu rouler des modèles plus ancien, des modèles en 100 mm, en 150 mm... en passage interne ou externe. Souvent décrié pour son manque de fiabilité, nous avons en effet relevé un problème majeur qui est survenu sur la quasi majorité des reverb testé. Nous avons également pu réalisé l'entretien complet ainsi que la purge simple de la commande. Mais quand la reverb fonctionne, elle fonctionne plutôt très bien. We don’t want you to have to use it, which is why we’ve created the most robust seatpost to date. We also know, sometimes the inevitable happens. Over time, air and oil may mix resulting in that annoying post “squish” and the need for additional service. Vent Valve Technology allows you to do this simple service within a few steps without disassembly of the post. Simply depress the Vent Valve, compress the post, and you’re good to go.

Wie bekommst du die Leitung der Reverb durch den Rahmen verlegt und wie montierst du dann alles? Diese Fragen beantwortet wie immer unser Tommy! Im besten Falle hat Rahmen schon einen Liner durch die Zugführen gelegt, oder du hast schon eine absenkbare Sattelstütz verbaut und du möchtest sie austauschen. Dann kannst du den Liner bzw die vorhandene Leitung nutzen, um die neue Leitung der Reverb durch den Rahmen zu führen. Dafür benötigst du nur den BARB-Connector: Dieses Verbindungsstück zur Leitungsverlegung für die Reverb schraubst du einfach zwischen die beiden Leitungen. Dann ziehst den Liner Richtung Lenker raus und hast ganz einfach die Leitung verlegt. Wenn du gar keine Vorbereitung in deinem Rahmen hast, musst du die neue Leitung per Hand durchführen. Das vereinfacht dann ein Magnet-Tool, wie das 3min19sec Montageset für interne Kabelführung. Das macht das Verlegen von innen geführten Kabeln, Zügen und Hüllen um ein Vielfaches einfacher. Es besteht aus zwei 120 cm langen Kabeln, mit denen Du problemlos Züge durch alle gängigen Rahmen ziehen kannst, sowie einem Werkzeug mit verschiedenen Führungsspitzen.
