The security and prosperity of the United States and our allies depends on the deterrence of war. But we are losing our ability to deter great power conflict. We still rely upon small numbers of large, exquisite, heavily manned aircraft, ships, and other platforms to project military power. But our adversaries are building a vast arsenal of advanced weapons to find, target, and destroy our traditional forces. We cannot, and we will not, succeed without fundamental changes. We hosted over sixty local Orange County middle and high school students at our headquarters for an all day hack! This event was done in collaboration with a student led hackathon club, Hack OC. We are going over the Darksword Armory's Anduril sword. It is based on the sword in Lord of the Rings that Aragorn uses. We will be showing the unboxing as well as testing it out. We bought this sword to go with his Aragorn costume he made for Halloween. We will be posting videos going over our two costumes soon! (The sword is made from 5160 spring steel, not 1050. Our bad. 🤍 Ghost 4 is an autonomous VTOL sUAS that operates on the Lattice AI platform. Ghost 4 is modular, man-portable, waterproof, and combines long endurance, high payload capacity and a near-silent acoustic signature for a wide variety of mission capabilities. The battery-powered UAV also has a more than 100-minute flight endurance, he adds. The Ghost 4 has a cruise speed of about 52kt (96.6km/h) and can fully recharge in about 35 minutes. That means that the UAV could cover about 100 miles (161km) of ground on a single charge, notes Luckey. Because the drone’s recharge speed is faster than its discharge time, two UAVs – one flying and one recharging – could be paired to continuously monitor a 50 mile out-and-back stretch, he adds.

Trae is Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Anduril Industries, a defense technology company focused on autonomous systems. He is also a partner at Founders Fund, where he invests across sectors with a particular interest in startups operating in the government space. Previously, Trae was an early employee at Palantir Technologies, where he led teams focused on growth in the intelligence/defense space as well as international expansion, helping large organizations solve their hardest data analysis problems. He was also an integral part of the product team, leading the design and strategy for new product offerings. While at Palantir, Trae also served as an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University. Prior to Palantir, Trae worked as a computational linguist building enterprise solutions to Arabic/Persian name matching and data enrichment within the United States Intelligence community. He began his career working in the office of then Congressman Rob Portman and in the Political Affairs Office at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, D.C. immediately following the installation of Hamid Karzai’s transitional government. Trae graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

In this video I go over the modes and features of the Anduril 2 user interface for flashlights and how to get the most out of this complicated interface. I go over the basics like on and off. Moonlight and turbo. I then go in the aux colors and lockout modes. I then go into the special features like the strobe low and high, the bike light mode, the candle mode and the lightning storm mode. This light in this video is the Wurrkos TS10 14500 flashlight. Anduril Industries Awarded $967 Million US contract to do counter-unmanned systems work for Special Operations Command, the Department of Defense. The work will be performed in various locations within and outside the continental U.S., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 19, 2032. Twelve proposals were received in response to the SIP prototype project opportunity notice. U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.
