Chengyu (traditional Chinese: 成語; simplified Chinese: 成语; pinyin: chéngyǔ; lit.: '[already] made/formed words/speech') are a type of traditional Chinese idiomatic expression, most of which consist of four characters. Chengyu were widely used in Classical Chinese and are still common in vernacular Chinese writing and in the spoken language today. According to the most stringent definition, there are about 5,000 chéngyǔ in the Chinese language, though some dictionaries list over 20,000. Chéngyǔ are considered the collected wisdom of the Chinese culture, and contain the experiences, moral concepts, and admonishments from previous generations of Chinese. Nowadays, chéngyǔ still play an important role in Chinese conversations and education. Chinese idioms are one of four types of formulaic expressions (熟语, shuyu), which also include collocations (惯用语), two-part allegorical sayings (歇后语), and proverbs (谚语). They are often referred to as Chinese idioms or four-character idioms; however, they are not the only idioms in Chinese. Wǒmen de yīgè péngyǒu túrán líshì, āi rénshēng wúcháng a! One of our friends suddenly passed away,(sigh), life is full of uncertainty! 人生无常,要好好把握当下! Rénshēng wúcháng, yào hǎohǎo bǎwò dāngxià! life is full of uncertainty, seize the moment! 英文翻译: 知 means 知道,To know ,足 满足be satisfied 常:often乐 快乐,here means the long term happiness. In order to get a long term happniness, you have to be satisfied with what you really got be satisfied with what you have, then you will be content and happy. 知足常乐也是一种人生哲学 Zhīzú cháng lè yěshì yī zhǒng rénshēng zhéxué It is also a life philosophy 人生要知足常乐,才会开心 Rénshēng yào zhīzú cháng lè, cái huì kāixīn In our lives, in order to be happy, we should be satisfied with what we have 顺其自然, 汉语成语,意思是顺着事物本来的性质自然发展。出自《灵城精义》 (五代)何溥 《灵城精义》 :“ 骨脉配合何如合则顺其自然而以正合。” 所谓的顺其自然,并不是指我们可以不努力,而是努力之后有勇气接受一切的成败。 英文翻译 顺 means to follow, to obey其 means it,自然means nature The meaning of the whole idiom is to let nature take its course/ let things happen naturally, accept what comes along; Let us have a look at the examples: 1.一切顺其自然 Whatever will be/happen, will be/happen. Doris Day 歌曲-Que sera sera 2.让大自然发挥它的力量吧! let nature take its course. 3.别想那么多,顺其自然吧! Don’t overthink it, we will see! I don’t know what the future holds. 我不知道未来会怎样,一切顺其自然吧 Not knowing 一种未来未知的状态 I like not knowing right now. 我很享受未知的感觉。 I am just going with the flow. 我就是顺其自然 See where my/the future takes me. 顺其自然 一个人寻找自我 看看有没有新的机会出现 Let it be. 顺其自然吧 Speaking words of wisdom let it be. 说着智慧的话语,顺其自然 你已经做了你该做的,顺其自然吧! You have done everything you can, let’s see what will happen🤍 顺其自然和知足常乐,你们喜欢今天的成语吗?因为在生活中很常用并且是我的人生哲理。Those idioms(Chengyu), are very useful and also my life philosophy!这样的人生哲理,人生就是要闯过一个又一个的难关,我们只能在努力做好自己的同时,让一切顺其自然,知足常乐,因为人生是如此的无常 。 好了今天的成语欢迎大家举例子,找出更多的近义词和反义词 谢谢你们,that is all for today!thanks for watching! bye-bye!

#ChineseIdiomsinEnglish(30) #汉语成语翻译#Chengyu成语 Have your feet on the ground|脚踏实地Jiǎotàshídì Chinese Idioms in English(30) 汉语成语翻译|Chengyu 成语 Have your feet on the ground|脚踏实地Jiǎotàshídì 脚踏实地 读音为jiǎo tà shí dì 意思是脚踏在坚实的土地上。 The meaning of the whole idiom is to : Have/Keep one's feet on the ground or Have/Keep both feet on the ground. To have one's feet firmly planted on the ground; realistic without flights of fancy; steady and serious character Here are two examples: 1.人们通常会认为像他这样的打明细不需要努力工作,可他真是个脚踏实地的人! You'd think a superstar like him doesn't have to work hard, however, he's got his feet on the ground. Rénmen tōngcháng huì rènwéi xiàng tā zhèyàng de dǎ míngxì bù xūyào nǔlì gōngzuò, kě tā zhēnshi gè jiǎotàshídì de rén! 2.波波是个脚踏实地的人! Bō bō shìgè jiǎotàshídì de rén! BoBo always has his feet on the ground! Background music: Http/🤍inshot.com/Doit

I am sailing, I am sailing! 2 无论是在阳光灿烂的日子,还是风雨如晦的岁月,同样有纯白色的小船载着天蓝的的希冀和梦幻乘风破浪。 Wúlùn shì zài yángguāng cànlàn de rìzi, háishì fēngyǔ rú huì de suìyuè, tóngyàng yǒu chún báisè de xiǎochuán zàizhe tiānlán de de xījì hé mènghuàn chéngfēngpòlàng.
