Reviewing Google's Pixel Buds A-Series true wireless earbuds, which for £99 in the UK are pretty much 'budget' earphones - but are they among the best of 2021? I've been testing these 'phones all week, so here's the final verdict. Now, if you want ANC (Active Noise Cancelling), then these aren't the earbuds for you. The Pixel Buds A-Series sport a vented design which allows external sound to filter in, for a less claustrophobic feel. However, sound quality is great and Google's wireless earphones impress on many levels. The controls are flawless, design is certainly iconic, and comfort levels are top notch. Battery life is sadly average, but at least the Buds A-Series are fast to charge and a lot more budget friendly than Google's original earbuds. Комплект стандартный - наушники, зарядный кейс, 3 пары сменных амбушюр неплохого качества, кабель для зарядки usb type-c и руководство пользователя. Летим дальше. В продаже имеется два цвета - ясно белый и темно оливковый. У меня на руках второй вариант, но, к сожалению, отличие в цвете относится только к наушникам, бокс в любом случае белого цвета. Зарядный кейс изготовлен из хорошего качества матового белого пластика. Сам по себе пластик приятный, очень скользкий, но при этом не маркий и мелких повреждений на нем я пока не заметил. Форма кейса овальная и удобная. Габариты достаточно компактные - 63х46х24 мм, а весит кейс без наушников - 42,6 грамма. В кармане не потеряешь и при этом засунуть в маленький карман этот девайс труда не составит. На корпусе расположены - скрытый светодиодный индикатор, функциональная кнопка и разъём type-c. Люфта у крышки нет в любом положении, что радует, конечно же. Открыть одной рукой супер-просто. В открытом положении крышка отлично фиксируется. Внутри все глянцевое в оливковом цвете и имеется только два вертикальных места под наушники, в каждом из который по два контакта для зарядки. Наушники в боксе совершенно не гуляют. При тряске вылетают с незначительным сопротивлением. Хлопок при закрытии бокса звонкий. Полный цикл зарядки кейса составляет 42 минуты, за 10 минут набегает 30% заряда от блока питания Quick Charge 3.0. Беспроводная зарядка также на борту. Наушники от кейса можно перезарядить полных 4 раза. Саморазряд есть, но незначительный. Переходим к наушникам. Изготовлены наушники из приятного глянцевого и матового пластика оливкового цвета с силиконовой заушиной для комфортной и надежной посадки в ухе и из-за этого дизайн наушников смотрится слегка необычно. Форма у данных ушей эргономичная. Габариты небольшие - 21х19х14 мм, диаметр сенсорной панели составляет 17,5 мм. Вес одного наушники без амбушюры равен - 4,8 граммам, а с амбушюрой - 5,1 грамм. Посадка в ухе комфортная, по весу не ощущаются вообще. При длительной носке уши незначительно устают, на подушке в них не полежишь и в холодное время года под тугой шапкой не поносишь, поэтому придется приобрести головной прибор посвободнее. Из рук убегают на раз-два, но трудностей при извлечении из кейса не возникает. При занятии спортом из ушей не вылетают. Звуковод приемлемых размеров - 5,5 мм,а в диаметр

Poco meno di un anno fa Google aveva presentato le Pixel Buds 2, cuffie true wireless dal design iconico contraddistinte da una spiccata integrazione con l'assistente vocale dell'azienda di Mountain View. Le avevo provate subito in accoppiata con un Pixel 3a e tutto sommato mi erano piaciute (qui la recensione) a fronte di alcuni aspetti migliorabili, a partire dal posizionamento di prezzo non proprio economico: si parlava - e si parla ancora, essendo distribuite solo dal canale ufficiale - di 199 euro. Beh, a quanto pare qualcuna di queste considerazioni è stata ascoltata e Google ha deciso di proporne una versione simile, ma più economica: le nuove true wireless della casa sono state presentate oggi, costano 99 euro e si chiamano Pixel Buds A-series, proprio come gli smartphone della gamma "A" sono la variante meno costosa dei più blasonati Pixel. Per non farmi mancare nulla le ho provate con il Google Pixel 4a che uso ormai da molti mesi, e ho impostato un confronto con le precedenti Pixel Buds 2 per capire cosa cambia tra i due modelli. The Google Pixel Buds are a cool concept but the execution feels a little underwhelming. For me, the fit isn't ideal and the lack of a fully wireless design puts them a step behind other options. The translation potential is HUGE but at the moment functionality is almost identical to the Google translate app on it's own.
